K·LINE aluminium window and door range
K·LINE offers very different systems. We can work with everything from a casement window for a bedroom to a large sliding door or a minimal-frame solution.
There is no single system that is best for every situation. Each one is designed to solve different requirements.
K·LINE KL-BC Plus sliding door
KL-BC Plus is one of the systems we often consider when there is a large opening onto a terrace and a hinged door would not make sense because of the dimensions or the space required for the leaves to open.
It allows us to work with large sliding panels while maintaining comfortable operation and a generous glazed area.
For the Tarátsa project in Sitges, we installed a KL-BC Plus sliding door measuring approximately 5.5 metres wide by 2.5 metres high, with three sliding panels and safety glazing.

Minima Slide: more glass and less aluminium on show
Minima Slide makes sense when you want to make the most of the views and reduce the visual presence of the frame as much as possible.
It is designed for large glazed areas and homes where natural light and the connection with the outdoors are particularly important.
With this type of system, it is important to plan the installation properly from the beginning.

- Its integration should ideally be planned during the project stage.
K·LINE Galandage pocket sliding doors: the panels disappear into the wall
With a Galandage system, the sliding panels move into a pocket inside the wall when opened. This allows almost the entire opening to be left clear.
It is particularly useful for connecting a living room with a terrace or garden, but the building work needs to be designed to accommodate the system.
The side space, pocket frame, wall finishes and junctions all need to be planned before the walls are closed.

- The sliding panels disappear inside the wall.
- The construction needs to be planned from the outset.

K·LINE casement and tilt-and-turn windows
If your priority is improving thermal insulation, airtightness or reducing outside noise, a casement window is usually one of the first options we consider.
When closed, the sash presses against the seals around the entire perimeter of the frame. This type of closure can provide excellent airtightness.
That does not mean a casement window is always the better option. It may be the obvious choice for a bedroom, whereas a large opening onto a terrace may be much better suited to a sliding system.
K·LINE's concealed-sash design also helps reduce the visible amount of aluminium and increases the glazed area.

What is a thermal break?
Aluminium conducts temperature very efficiently. That is why we do not want the outside part of the frame to be directly connected to the inside.
A thermal break introduces an insulating material between the interior and exterior sections of the aluminium profile, reducing heat transfer between the two sides.
However, two quotations both mentioning “thermal break” does not mean that the two windows will offer the same level of insulation.

Why choose aluminium instead of PVC?
It is a common question, and we do not believe there is one universal answer.
A good thermally broken aluminium window and a good PVC window can both provide a high level of insulation.

K·LINE warranty of up to 10 years
K·LINE products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty according to the component, date of manufacture and the applicable warranty conditions.
Certain types of cover, such as permanent misting inside an insulating glass unit, may extend to 10 years.

The product warranty matters, but even a very good window still needs to be installed correctly.

Are casement windows better than sliding windows?
It depends on the opening and what matters most to you. If airtightness and insulation are the priority, we will usually look first at a casement system. For a large opening onto a terrace, a sliding system may make much more sense.
Will K·LINE windows eliminate all outside noise?
It would not be realistic to promise complete silence. We can select the frame, opening system, glazing and installation method to achieve a significant reduction, but the final result also depends on the building and other routes through which sound can enter.
What type of glazing should I choose?
It depends on orientation, dimensions, solar exposure, outside noise, security requirements and how the room is used. There is no single glazing specification that is right for every window in a home.
Can I have a different colour inside and outside?
Many K·LINE configurations are available with a dual-colour finish. Exact availability depends on the system and finish selected.
Can roller shutters, insect screens or smart-home systems be integrated?
Yes. Ideally these elements should be specified before manufacture so we can check dimensions, available space and compatibility with the chosen window system.
How much does it cost to replace windows with K·LINE?
The price depends on the dimensions, opening system, glazing, colour, roller shutters, accessories and the conditions of the installation. That is why we prefer not to give a generic price that may have very little to do with your home.
