Before choosing a model

Four questions to help you choose well.

The best door is not necessarily the most expensive. It is the one that best suits everyday use, the building frontage and the level of comfort you need.

01

Is it for a private home or a shared entrance?

A private entrance door is used very differently from a communal one. Opening frequency, door-entry systems and hardware can vary significantly.

02

What level of insulation do you really need?

A door sheltered inside a hallway is not exposed to the same conditions as a street-facing entrance subject to wind, rain and temperature changes.

03

Would you like a solid, glazed or combination door?

Think about how much light you want to let in and how much privacy you need. Glazing can significantly change both the interior and the exterior appearance.

04

Does the colour or style need to match the façade?

In apartment buildings and refurbishment projects, the colour, proportions, glazing, handles or bars often need to coordinate with the existing building.

At-a-glance comparison

Compare the options at a glance.

Each model has its own features, but this table gives you a quick overview of the main differences between the five door types.

Door type Main material Style Customisation Typical projects
Framed aluminium Aluminium Elegant and adaptable, with glazing or fixed panels Very high Homes and shared entrances with fixed panels, glazing or non-standard sizes
Flush-panel aluminium Aluminium Clean, uniform and simple lines High Modern homes and entrances where design takes centre stage
Steel flush panel Steel Modern and robust Medium Homes prioritising security, insulation and a clean, modern look
Wood-effect door Aluminium Plain, grooved, slatted or glazed Very broad New-build and refurbishment projects, houses, apartments and a wide range of entrances
Iron door Iron Industrial, traditional or completely bespoke Maximum Shared entrances, entrance halls, unusual openings and façade refurbishment
What you will notice every day

A good door is about far more than looks.

Design matters, but the real value is felt every day: when the door closes properly, withstands regular use, protects the entrance and continues to look good over time.

01

Security suited to the way it is used

We help you choose the lock, locking points, glazing and hardware based on how the entrance is actually used.

02

Well-designed insulation

A door performs well thermally when the leaf, frame, glazing and installation work together. It is not just about the panel.

03

Designed to suit the façade

Colours, proportions, glazing, handles and details are selected so the door looks like an integral part of the building.

04

Professional installation

Even a high-quality door can cause problems if it is not properly levelled, anchored and sealed. That is why installation is essential.

Bespoke iron entrance doors

Iron entrance doors for apartment buildings, homes and unusual openings.

Iron allows us to adapt the door to very specific sizes, shapes and requirements. We can combine glazing, bars, internal shutters and different fittings so the result suits both the building and the way the entrance will be used.

We do not start from a single standard model. We assess the opening, the façade, the frequency of use and the elements you want to include, then prepare a bespoke proposal.

  • Single or double doors
  • Fixed side or top panels
  • Glazing and bars
  • Door-entry system
  • Door closers
  • Locks and handles
  • Internal shutters
  • Choice of colour

Frequently asked questions

Common questions before replacing an entrance door.

Every project is different, but these answers will help you understand the options before speaking to us.

The main differences are the material and construction of the door leaf. K·LINE and STRUGAL flush-panel doors are aluminium solutions, while the Steel door uses steel. This affects the design, security level, insulation and available options.

In many cases, yes. However, we need to check the colour range and finish available for each product line. The same RAL code may vary slightly depending on texture, sheen, coating process or manufacturer.

In many cases, yes, particularly for shared entrances. It needs to be planned from the outset so the lock, wiring and hardware work correctly.

When the entrance has unusual dimensions or shapes, you want to include bars, large glazed areas or internal shutters, or the design needs to fit closely with an existing façade. It is not inherently better or worse than aluminium or steel; it simply offers greater freedom for bespoke fabrication.

With photographs and approximate dimensions, we can advise you on the most suitable door type and prepare an initial proposal. Before manufacture, we take accurate measurements and assess the condition of the opening.

Let’s start by understanding what your entrance needs.

Send us photographs of the entrance, approximate dimensions and a brief explanation of what you would like to achieve. We will advise you on the door types most likely to suit the project.
