A decision for many years

A door that works with your garage and your daily routine

A garage door may open several times a day. As well as looking right on the façade, it should operate smoothly, close correctly and be convenient for everyone who uses it.

No two garages have exactly the same space, ceiling height or access. Before recommending a door, we assess the opening, the position of the walls, whether there is another entrance and what you need to store or do inside.

This allows us to recommend a practical door and avoid solutions that appear suitable on paper but prove inconvenient in everyday use.

  • For homes, residential communities, businesses and small storage premises.
  • Manual or automatic operation.
  • With windows, ventilation or pedestrian access where required.
  • Colours and finishes coordinated with the façade.

Designed to make everyday life easier

Easier access and better use of the garage

The right door makes better use of the available space and turns an everyday task such as parking into a much simpler experience.

Make better use of the entrance

The door does not swing out towards the street, so the vehicle can be parked closer and the available space used more effectively.

Made to suit the garage

We assess the ceiling, side walls and obstacles to choose the opening system that best suits the actual space.

Helps protect the interior

Insulated panels and perimeter seals help reduce the entry of cold, heat, wind, dust and dirt.

Designed to complement the façade

Choose from smooth, ribbed and textured designs, as well as wood-effect finishes that coordinate with the property.

Two ways to open the garage

Vertical or side-sliding sectional garage door

Both are made from hinged panels, but they are stored in different ways. The best option depends on the ceiling, the side walls and how you intend to use the garage.

Vertical sectional garage door opening upwards
The most common option

Vertical sectional garage door

The door rises vertically before being stored beneath the ceiling. It does not project into the street while opening and leaves both the interior and the area in front of the garage available.

The tracks and spring system are configured according to the headroom above the opening. This allows installation in garages with standard, low or restricted headroom.

A good choice when the ceiling is clear and the side walls need to remain available.
Side-sliding sectional garage door
Opens to one side

Side-sliding sectional garage door

Instead of rising, the panels move to one side and are stored alongside an interior garage wall.

It uses insulated panels similar to those of a vertical door, but its operation does not require steel cables or torsion springs.

It includes seals around the door and a lower track that does not need to be recessed into the floor. It can operate manually or automatically and, depending on the dimensions, provide pedestrian access.

A good alternative when the ceiling needs to remain clear, although one side wall must be available to store the door.
What is not always visible

A good door also depends on what is behind it

Design matters, but reliable operation also depends on the panels, tracks, springs, seals and motor.

Every system must be selected for the size and weight of the door. This is why we take measurements before deciding which components each installation requires.

40 mm insulated panel

Made from two galvanised steel sheets with a high-density polyurethane core. It helps improve thermal and acoustic insulation and, together with the seals, creates a more weather-resistant closure.

Perimeter seals

They improve the seal along the sides, across the top and where the door meets the floor, helping reduce the passage of air, dust, wind and water.

Tracks and opening system

Depending on the available space, the tracks and springs can be arranged in different ways. This allows the door to be adapted to garages with more or less headroom above the opening.

Correctly sized motor

The power and accessories are selected according to the dimensions, weight, frequency of use and required safety systems.

Panels, colours and textures

A garage door is part of the façade

We can choose a discreet finish that blends with the property or make the door a more prominent architectural feature. The right option depends on the style of the façade and your preferences.

Safety and peace of mind

Easy to use and designed to prevent accidents

Garage doors are heavy moving structures. The panels, motor and safety systems must therefore be designed for reliable everyday use.

Detail of the finger-safe joint between the panels

Finger-safe panel joints

The shape of the panel joints helps reduce the risk of trapping fingers while the door is opening or closing.

Motor installed to automate a sectional garage door

Automatic operation

Open the door from the vehicle using a remote control, without having to get out when entering or leaving the garage.

Depending on the chosen configuration, safety photocells can be fitted, opening and closing force can be adjusted and automatic closing can be programmed.

How we work

First we understand the garage. Then we configure the door

Dimensions matter, but so do the ceiling, walls, access points, pipes and any other elements that could affect the movement of the door.

1

Tell us what you need

Tell us where the garage is, how you use it and whether you are looking for an automatic, manual, vertical or side-sliding door.

2

We assess the space

We check the opening, headroom, side clearances, ceiling and any obstacles that could affect the installation.

3

We prepare the proposal

We define the opening system, design, colour, motor and accessories that genuinely make sense for your project.

4

We install and adjust

We install the door and check its travel, closure and operation before considering the work complete.

Would you like us to advise you from the outset?

Send us photographs of the outside and inside. They will help us understand the garage before carrying out the final site measurement.

  • Approximate width and height of the opening.
  • Available headroom above the door.
  • Available space on the right and left.
  • Photograph of the ceiling and interior.
  • Town or area where the installation is required.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions before replacing a garage door

What is the difference between a sectional garage door and an up-and-over door?

A sectional door is made from several hinged panels. It rises vertically or moves to one side without swinging out towards the street, making better use of the space in front of the garage.

What is the difference between a vertical and a side-sliding sectional door?

The vertical door rises and is stored beneath the ceiling. The side-sliding door moves along one of the interior walls. The choice depends on the free space above and beside the opening.

Can a sectional garage door be installed with limited headroom?

Yes. Configurations are available for standard, low or restricted headroom, and the spring system can be positioned in different ways according to the available space.

Where necessary, we can also create a fixed head panel using the same panel as the door. This closes the upper part of the opening and provides the space required by the mechanism.

Another option is to create this fixed section in glass, allowing the installation to be completed without losing all the natural light entering the garage.

The best solution is determined after measuring the opening and assessing the ceiling and garage interior.

What happens during a power cut?

Where the garage can be entered through another door, the motor normally includes an internal release cord. Pulling it disengages the motor so that the door can be opened manually.

Where there is no other access, we install an external key-operated release. This allows the motor to be disengaged from outside during a power cut.

Can it include a pedestrian door?

Yes. Depending on the dimensions and opening system, an integrated pedestrian door or a separate matching side door can be considered.

An integrated pedestrian access can also be considered for a side-sliding sectional door, provided the project configuration allows it.

Do sectional garage doors provide thermal and acoustic insulation?

The 40 mm panels have a polyurethane core that improves thermal and acoustic insulation compared with a door made from a single sheet of metal.

This is particularly useful when the garage is connected to the home, used as a workshop or serves as a storage area.

The final performance also depends on the dimensions, seals, floor and quality of installation.

Can I choose the colour and design?

Yes. Smooth, ribbed, slatted, micro-ribbed, textured, glazed and wood-effect designs are available in a choice of colours.

Windows, vision panels and ventilation grilles can also be added, depending on the door configuration.

What do you need to prepare a quotation?

Approximate opening width and height, the location and photographs taken from both outside and inside are very helpful.

It is also useful to see the ceiling and side clearances and to know whether there is another door into the garage.

We begin by understanding your space

Send us photographs and we will help you assess the right door

You do not need to have chosen the motor, panel or opening system. Tell us about the garage, what you would like to improve and how you use it. We will help you organise the options.
